I asked Mary about the family shooting. Now, concentrate - Emmeline Lucy
married a Lilwall and he shot his friend by accident. He then took to the
bottle and died an untimely death probably from liver disease. Between them
they had several children one of whom was Walter Peacock, my grandfather.
Emmeline Lucy went on to marry Tom Stephens, miller of Fladbury.
The bicycle accident was George, the brother of Annie Charlotte who married
Walter Peacock. He was cycling along with a milk can on the handlebars and
he caught his knee on the can and came off.
