FUNERAL OF MRS. J. CURTIS

A Well-Known Resident

The death occurred, after a short
illness, of Mrs. Jane Curtis, of 11,
Iron Bar Lane, Canterbury, at the
age of 80 years. She leaves a family of
seven sons and five daughters
and had been a resident of the
city for many years. The funeral
took place on Saturday at Can-
terbury Cemetery, preceded by a ser-
vice at St. George's Church, conducted
by the Rev. G. Keable. Among those
present at the church were Mr. T.
Collard and members of St. George's
Church Mothers' Meeting.
The mourners were Messrs. T., A., S.,
