I'm Selling Up!

In order to concentrate on other pursuits, I am selling GEDmill to the highest bidder. I am selling all source code, development notes, the registration key generator, and exclusive rights to sell and modify the product! GEDmill is a viable product with plenty of current interest, a good sales record,, exposure in Family Tree magazines, positive customer feedback and references in other web sites.

What is on offer

GEDmill is one of the few (if not the only) products of its kind that outputs standards compliant XHTML. The GEDCOM parser alone has benefitted from years of exposure to pretty much every flavour of GEDCOM around. The source code is clearly written and easy to maintain. The product has matured with plenty of customer feedback. Even by doing nothing GEDmill will generate its owner a steady income. Every customer who puts a website online using GEDmill increases GEDmill's web presence. To drive sales even further, there are many ways the successful buyer could maximise their income from GEDmill. I have a long list of suggestions from customers on how to improve the product, so there is no shortage of ways to develop and differentiate the product further.

What's not included

Not included is the development tool (you will need Microsoft Visual Studio .Net), customer email addresses, nor any warranty or commitment on my part to develop, maintain or otherwise support the product in any way (though I will forward any enquiries, and I am open to the possibilty of working on GEDmill on a contract basis.) This offer does not include transfer of the logicmill.com domain name. (I am open to offers for the domain name, but this will be negotiated as a separate transaction.) Not included is any advertising (including Google AdWords account, CNET account etc.).
